Fun time for my nephew. Great that it has a rechargeable battery and the small Phillip head screwdriver. Very simple remote control and fun to watch it transform. Works great on the tile floor. The only confusion is the box says 6+ and the side warning says 8+.

If you want your grandson to call you the best granddad ever then you need to get him cooler toys then the other grandparents. This is one of those toys. It is a remote control car that has a transformer element by being able to turn into a robot even while the car is moving. I haven't given it to him yet because I'm still playing with it, but I'm sure I will give it to him eventually because I'm the cool granddad.

This is a nice-looking, fun remote control race car. It’s easy to control using the remote, which allows it to turn left or right, move forward or reverse, and even transform from a race car into a robot. There’s also a demo button that puts on a fun display of everything the toy can do. The package includes the car, remote control, a rechargeable battery for the car, a small screwdriver (for battery installation), and instructions. Note that the 2 AA batteries needed for the remote are not included. All the features work just as described in the product listing. Our grandkids are going to have a blast playing with this!

I got this as a Birthday present for a 4 year old boy. We also tested it at home for a week. My son is a big fan of cars and vehicles. He liked the car and really enjoyed how it transformed and the controls seemed to work well and the car was a speedy little thing. The size of the transformer is a standard remote control car size, it is not as big as some of the pictures make it out to be but my son enjoyed it nonetheless. One issue is that it is fiddly to put back together. It is also hard to charge the battery, you have to take the battery out of the car using a phillips screwdriver and charge it externally with a little connector, after charging you would disconnect it from the connector and put it back into the car and use the Phillips screwdriver to close it up. It would be a big improvement if they would change the charging to be just a simple USB plug to the car instead.
