This definitely a fun little car, with more features than you'd think you could get. It definitely is a beginner R/C car that should stay on flat hard surfaces, but it is a little bundle of fun, with reactive lights, sounds, and even "exhaust" made from cool steam, all of which can be turned on and off from the remote. What's even more amazing is it runs off of a single rechargeable battery the size of an AA, which you get two of. It isn't super fast or have amazing turn abilities, but it does respond quickly to the remote controller.All-in-all this would make a great first R/C car for a kid between 6-12 years old.

Very easy to assemble and use. I like that the lights turn on and there is sound. The smoke is so cool. You will need two double A batteries for the remote. My kids enjoy it! Highly recommend!

I have to say, this remote control Jeep ended up better than I expected. I was very impressed with the way this car handled once we got the lithium batteries charged up. You still need to supply your own 2AA batteries for the actual remote control which I thought came with the product, but at least it provided the lithium batteries that go in the JEEP. You will have to have your own computer or USB charger to attach the USB cord to in order to charge up the lithium batteries first, which took about an hour. The turquoise color of this car is gorgeous and really stands out when you are driving it outside. This car also has actual working headlights and blue backlights! It makes sounds as you are driving it, although I didn't notice any music sounds as advertised. It comes with a small screwdriver that you will need to unscrew the battery cover for the JEEP along with some small accessories for the JEEP such as a shovel and some additional lights for top of car (don't light up). We haven't tried out the fog mister yet so can't comment on that. The JEEP drives really fast and is very easy to control with the remote. My kiddos were very happy with this product!

This RC Jeep is pretty cool. The headlight has a bright White LED output and the bumper has bright Blue LED Lights. The sound effects are spot on and matches with controls that are being given. It even has gear changing engine sounds as you accelerate faster. The RC Vehicle itself is robust. The plastic body of the vehicle is re-enforced by thick plastic, which seems to be good quality. The jeep is rear wheel drive and drives pretty smooth. The top speed is pretty good, although, I would prefer faster, but still fast enough for an adult to enjoy, and especially a child. The remote is very intuitive, so the child will be able to pick up the controls pretty quickly. The coolest feature is the exhaust smoke/fumes. It gives off a realist vibe as you are accelerating. The Jeep is a perfect size to me, which allowed me to get creative and integrate some of my action figures that I had laying around. Overall, very sturdy RC that is worth the price.Best Regards,Amazon Vine Voice (Product Reviewer)

So much fun to play with! Great size and color! It comes with two batteries for the car and few car accessories. I love the overall jeep design of the car, it has great details, like its small steering wheels and dashboards, headlights and back/break lights. The mist feature was a nice touch. You can even put small toy person as drivers (not included). I am just not a big fan of the sound of the car, it sounded more like a race car than a jeep, if they changed the sound to match type of car, it would have been more perfect. It is easy to control the car and remote controls are easy to learn, even small kids can learn the controls pretty quickly. The remote requires two AA batteries which is not included. They include small screwdriver to open the back of the remote and rc car to put the batteries, i thought it was great that screwdriver is already included as well.
