DEERC DE125 1:14 RC Rock Crawler, 4WD Remote Control Off-Road Monster Truck with Mist Spray, Metal Shell, LED Lights, 2.4GHz All-Terrain Car, 2 Batteries, Gifts for Kids & Adults

My kids LOVE this RC car. The backup battery is a nice touch and you can get 30 - 40 minutes of use with each battery on full charge. They enjoy strategically timing the mist as well.4 stars instead of 5 due to:1. The lights on top of the car being fragile. The car took about an 8 inch tumble and the lights immediately broke off. I suspect the plastic elsewhere on the car could crack too with an accidental drop.2. The claim that it's "built to climb" is a bit of a stretch. It struggled to take on rocks and climbing what I felt was a minor incline.

Pretty cool & inexpensively priced (with coupon) 1:14 scale remote control RC rock crawling off-road style truck that has some cool additional features that great for kids aged 5-12+ years. First off, DEERC is a reliable brand for RC cars & trucks, this one has a nice-looking 2-seated off-road style design with 4 matching larger all-terrain wheels that can climb over manageable obstacles & also ride in the dirt as well as pavement. Defiantly a fun RC car for all suitable ages, even adults although it doesn't go super-fast but it does go fast enough to play & enjoy with its 40-meter-long range remote control to enjoy outside the home, at a park, open parking lot or even a designated RC playlot that some places offer.

I found this remote controlled truck to be a very cool toy for all ages that exudes a great sense of quality. The handy controller fits perfectly in small to medium hands, features very simple controls, and runs conveniently on two standard AA batteries. This well built car truly shines in open areas, where it effortlessly speeds across various tough terrains like grass, sandy stretches, and rough gravel with ease. It is an incredibly rugged little vehicle that takes a beating and keeps on rolling, making it a fantastic and reliable gift that brings hours of entertainment to the backyard or park.

TITLE: DEERC DE125 RC CAR REVIEW - EASY TO RUN WITH A FEW QUIRKSOVERVIEW:This DEERC DE125 four-wheel drive RC car is simple to get running right out of the box. Everything comes completely assembled. To start, you just put the batteries in and flip the power switches on both the vehicle and the remote control. While the box recommends the toy for ages 8 and older, it moves at a modest speed and is basic enough that younger children could easily operate it.CONTROLS AND PERFORMANCE:The remote control uses non-proportional settings. The speed is strictly zero or full throttle in either forward or reverse, and the steering only cuts to center, full left, or full right. There is no in-between handling. It runs well on flat surfaces like wood floors, concrete, and dirt, but it bogs down completely in high grass. It might manage better on a short lawn.BATTERY DETAILS:The package includes two single 14500 lithium-ion batteries rated at 500mAh and 3.7V, which are roughly the size of a standard AA battery. The battery compartment on the vehicle chassis is noticeably oversized for the included battery, meaning it has the physical space to accommodate a larger power pack. One minor annoyance is that you need a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery doors on both the car and the remote control handle, and a screwdriver is not included in the box.MIST SPRAY FEATURE:The front of the box lists a "Mist Spray" feature, but the instructions do not mention it anywhere. The package does come with a small water container, and there is a hole with a rubber plug on top of the car body. It appears you are supposed to fill this reservoir with water to make the smoke effect work, but this is speculation since the manual leaves it out completely.CONCLUSION: This is a good price for a young childs first rc car. It does not go very fast so he's not going to hurt somebody. The battery life with a single small battery can't be as long as it would be with a larger battery that the instructions show. The suspension is very flexible so it is going to be as resilient as it can be before it gets broken.

The DEERC DE125 RC Rock Crawler has been a fantastic purchase. It was easy to set up, simple to operate, and provided plenty of fun right out of the box. The body feels sturdy and holds up well to bumps, rollovers, and regular outdoor use.The 4WD system gives the truck impressive traction on grass, dirt, gravel, and other uneven surfaces. It handles obstacles well and has enough power to climb over small rocks and rough terrain without much trouble. The suspension helps keep the ride smooth and stable even when driving on challenging surfaces. One of the standout features is the mist spray effect, which adds a cool visual element while driving. The LED lights also make the truck look great, especially during evening play sessions.Having two included batteries is a huge advantage because it allows for much longer playtime before needing to recharge. The controller is responsive, and the 2.4GHz connection provides reliable control with minimal interference.Overall, this is an entertaining and well designed RC vehicle that offers excellent value for the price. It is a great gift for kids and just as enjoyable for adults who like remote control vehicles and off road driving.
