I'm going to start this review with the bad things about this aircraft, because I know that's what I always come to the reviews to see. The reason I deducted two stars from this plane is mostly due to the controllability. While I generally had good control of the aircraft once I got it to launch - a gentle breeze was able to turn the airplane significantly... like I could be in the hardest right turn the plane is capable of doing, the slight breeze arrives, and the plane suddenly jerks to the left. I don't mean just being blown by the wind - that's really unavoidable for an aircraft this lightweight - the airplane physically tilts and turns in a direction that I'm not telling it to go, which makes me scared to fly it on all but the most windless days. The other issue is power - while it does use a genuinely brushless motor, it's still lacking in power a bit. To hand launch I needed to throw it a little faster than all other RC airplanes I've flown, which is why there were so many failed launches at the beginning of my video. Once I got the hang of it, launching was easy. The motor is truly brushless - literally the tiniest brushless motor I've ever seen, but definitely brushless. Unfortunately, the design isn't repair friendly for electronics - so if the motor breaks you won't be able to repair it without breaking into the aircraft, first. The aircraft has a built in gyro stabilizer, which is active in modes A and B on the controller - I strongly recommend sticking in these modes. You can try to do acrobatics in C mode, but the throttle isn't really enough to do easy flips without stalling. From other experiences I've had with DEERC aircraft, I decided to fly without landing gear, which gives you a bit better performance. The controller is a classic gaming controller design that fits well in the hand and requires 3 AA batteries and a small screwdriver, which was not included. The nose of the aircraft is a very lightweight rubber. My other DEERC aircraft come with a slightly thicker nose than this one - but the aircraft is still fairly robust and survived some crashes and being retrieved from two trees, already.Maneuverability is a bit less than I was hoping - I do a few wide circles in my video and these are the tightest circles the aircraft is capable of doing, so make sure you have a wide open space to fly in.Assembly is easy and you attach the tail fins with a thin strip of double sided tape (included) - however, this tape doesn't hold them on too well - in one of the crashes in my video the fin ripped off when I tapped a branch and I lost control of the aircraft. I'd recommend gluing them in (hot glue or a very tiny bit of gorilla glue - super glue may melt the foam). Once the nose and tail fins are attached, you won't be able to store the airplane in the box it comes in anymore, which is also a bit of a disappointment - but it is a really awesome looking plane. If it weren't for the glitches I've been getting where the plane jerks suddenly, I'd rate it 4 or 5 stars. I think it's due to breeze, because I felt a breeze around the time I saw the aircraft turn significantly, but it might be an issue with connectivity with the controller, too
