DEERC 2-Pack RC Boats for Kids, Fast Remote Control Boat with 4×1200mAh Batteries, 120 Min Runtime, 7 LED Lights Mode, Capsize Recovery, 2.4GHz Racing, Pool & Lake Toy

My kids have several DEERC cars, a plane and a helicopter, so we jumped at the chance to try their RC boats. All of the DEERC products have been excellent quality and these boats are no exception! You get TWO boats, making it ideal for racing with a friend. We took these to a nearby large lake and played around with them for about 30 minutes, and despite lots of high speed racing we still didn't use up a whole battery, so battery life is excellent. Four batteries are included (one for each boat plus a spare for each). The lake was relatively calm but still had some waves, and neither boat capsized once so they are well weighted in the water. The remote controls work pretty much the same way as RC cars, so controlling the boats was easy to get the hang of. These boats zip through the water at an impressive speed and they are very agile with a tight turning radius. If I had to pick a complaint about these it would be that I wish the range were longer. The range is 80m (262 feet), which is not bad but I enjoyed driving the boat quite far out into the lake and then worrying about going too far, and if you exceed the range then there's not much hope of getting the boat back. There is a light that flashes on the controller when you're getting the boat close to the end of its range, so at least you get a warning. These are excellent quality toy boats. You get a lot of fun for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

This review is for DEERC 2-Pack RC Boats for Kids, Fast Remote Control Boat with 4×1200mAh Batteries, 120 Min Runtime, 7 LED Lights Mode, Capsize Recovery, 2.4GHz Racing, Pool & Lake Toy. I think these are good quality RC boats. It’s convenient that the package comes with four batteries instead of two. So even if the wonder you’re playing with run out, you have a back up. It’s also nice that there are two charging cables instead of one. I was surprised at how well these maneuver and water as I had never had anything like these before. The kids had hours of fun, cruising these in the pool. The remote controls do take four AA batteries but there is a tool included to open them. I think these ones are good quality and a great choice if you’re looking for RC boats. I would highly recommend them.

Decent value for the cost and pretty good quality but not great. We have an acre size pond and the remote control signal was able to stay connected on the whole pond. The remote is easy to use, our 5 year old can figure it out. I am docking a star because the power switch is only accessible by screwing and unscrewing the bottom. Also the propellers easily get caught up in a little bit of pond weeds/muck and you need to keep clearing it out. Great size and easy to fit both boats and remotes in a backpack. Very fun for our kids and adults. Battery life/ run time is pretty good, runs a for a bout an hour and half depending on how fast you are running the boats.

The best part about this set is that it actually comes as a pair, which is exactly what you want for racing. It’s always a bit of a letdown when you get a high-speed toy but only have one, because the real excitement comes from competing against someone else. These boats are perfect for those long afternoons at the lake or just a quick session in the backyard pool.High-Speed CompetitionThe boats are the same sleek style but come in different colors, so it is easy to tell who is winning as they zip across the water at up to 20 KPH. They even have LED lights, which is a cool touch if you’re still out there as the sun starts to go down. With four batteries included, you get plenty of runtime before anyone has to head back to the dock for a recharge. Why Two is Better Than One• Instant Racing: You get two boats and two remotes right out of the box, so there is no waiting around for a turn.• Waterproof and Tough: These are specifically built for lakes and pools with a waterproof seal to keep the electronics dry while you're pushing for top speed.• Hours of Fun: Whether it's for the kids or just someone looking for something different to do on the water, these offer a lot of entertainment. There isn't much to dislike here—it’s a straightforward, fast, and fun way to get some competition going. Having the dual set means you’re ready to race the second you hit the shoreline.

This RC boat set is an awesome choice for kids and beginners who want fast, exciting water races without spending a fortune. The two-boat design makes it perfect for siblings or friends to race together, and the LED lights add a really fun touch for evening play in pools or lakes. I was especially impressed by the self-righting feature, which helps prevent frustration when the boats flip over, and the included four batteries provide much longer playtime than most RC toys in this price range. The controls are responsive, the boats feel surprisingly durable, and the speed is fast enough to be exciting while still manageable for younger users. Overall, it’s a fun, well-designed set that delivers great value and keeps kids entertained for hours.
